Silver and Glass Music T-Shirt

Recently, I spent the day at Weathers Music in Salem, Oregon playing with thier instruments and setting up still life paintings. , I took a lot of props with me. The silver trumpet seemed to have a affinity for depression glass. The green and silver shines complimented each other. I enjoyed making the purple bounce through the reflections. In my photos it was almost gray, but there's no need to paint dull purple if you don't have to.

Jenny Armitage lives, paints, and draws in Salem Oregon. She's currently riding two horses: impressionist watercolor and surreal ink. Jenny's watercolors are about light and shadow patterns. She's most interested in forest and cityscapes, where the light bounces around creating interesting light patterns. These paintings begin with a pattern of light seen in the real world. Her ink drawings are illustrative of ideas. She has a thought and seeks to translate it to paper. Unlike her watercolors, the image begins with thought, not sight.
